What a fantastic season we had! The Ruffed Grouse number’s this year were up so we were able to have great dog work and shoot allot of grouse. The attached photo is of Timberdoodle Silver Trigger just shy of 5 months with her first pointed ruffed grouse. I was in a position down a hill and could see her come in and lock on point! I was able to get a shot and down it came, somehow that first bird shot over a puppies point that you bred makes you smile all day! We were able to hunt quite a bit this past season with pups out of our spring 2012 litter and we were thrilled at the bird work that we did see. We were also able to shoot a sharptail grouse over Trigger a month later on our Manitoba hunt! We sure were proud of that pup!
Our bird numbers were wonderful over all and we were able to hunt over quite a few of the pups we have bred over the years. Now we’re into guiding/breeding season and soon we’ll be chasing puppies all over the place again! I am very excited about welcoming such fantastic new Timberdoodle family members to our team! I’m sure I’ll be posting news of their hunting adventures and also of their NA tests! Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful bird/waterfowl season!
Happy Hunting!

I may be interested in a male puppy the end of this year. We are in the process of listing our home for sale and can’t have a puppy and move at the same time. Will you have any puppies available in the fall?

Hello, Our hunting schedule is very heavy in the fall so we do not plan litters in the fall. I do have two litters planned spring of 2015 though but nothing this fall.
Kindest Regards,

I am retiring this fall and I would like to get a female puppy from one of your litters this spring(2015). I am a lifelong hunter and have raised and trained 3 bird dogs, 2 German shorthaired pointers and an English pointer, all 3 became great hunting partners. My new pup will be a member of our family as well as a hunting dog. If you have any questions for me feel free to ask,
